What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We do not collect or save comment. If a visitor leaves comment or reaches out to us by email, we retain that information only locally. We respect the privacy of anyone who uses the website and do not track their use. Google, other search engines, and third-parties may collect data as they typically do as is the case with your normal web browsing. Googkle may capture and share with LITC visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection and site metrics. Site metrics are quantitative data measurements used to track, measure, and evaluate a website’s traffic, performance, and user behavior.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
